Taylor Swift, the 10-time Grammy award winning artist is back on the road. This Taylor Swift Concert is called the Reputation world tour. Reputation will be Swift’s fifth concert tour and began on 8 May 2018 in America. It will go right around the world with shows in England, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and comprises 51 concerts. The tour supports her sixth studio album of the same name, released in 2017.
As is quickly becoming the norm with many artists touring Australia, Taylor is beginning the Australian leg of her tour with one show at Optus Stadium on 19 October 2018.
Rumour has it that Taylor has a backstage area for fans called the Rep Room. She will be selecting audience members to join her back stage for a once in a lifetime VIP experience. You can read some tips here on how to get selected.
This is on top of the three stages which has been specifically designed to allow greater interaction with the singer.
Swift is known for getting up close and personal with her fans and has in the past followed fans on Instagram to determine their tastes and “Taylored” holiday gifts which she then personally delivered to her followers.
In an effort to prevent ‘bots’ and ‘scalpers from purchasing tickets, Swift has used Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program. The program, named “Taylor Swift Tix”, allowed fans to purchase tickets in advance of the public on-sale by participating in boost activities to increase chances of getting a pre-sale access code
As expected, tickets sold quickly and the few remaining tickets range in price from $107-$260 and are available through Ticketmaster.
There are still seats left as per the below Optus Stadium Seating Map, current on 25th June 2018.
