Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm

If you’re looking for fun ways to entertain young kids but also keep it slightly educational, the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm is for you.

Located in the heart of Perth’s Swan Valley Wine Region, the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm is fun for the whole family.

You are made to feel welcome from the second you arrive. The staff are very friendly and always keen to include you in whatever they’re doing.

What to See & Do

The first stop for us was the rabbit and guinea pig pens. Here you can grab a bucket of food and enter one of their cages. The food is unlimited so it’s easy to waste time with these cute little guys.

Then it was on to bottle feed some lambs that were no more than 6-8 weeks old. They were very cute and certainly cuddly!

Certain tame animals are free to roam around the yards and enclosures and are all open to being patted. Other animals, like the emus and camels are kept in enclosures for patron safety. There is a myriad of birds, both caged and un-caged. And there are also piglets, miniature horses, kangaroos, Llamas, and lot more to see.

The animal enclosures are centred around a large grassed area which is perfect for kid’s parties. There is a dedicated under croft area with trestle tables and chairs, and it looks like you can self-cater. There is also a train, merry-go-round and bouncy castle for the kids to use freely.

Whilst we were only there for a couple of hours, it wouldn’t be hard to spend the day and make it worth the money.

Entry prices are $18 per person for Adults and $13 per person for children.

How to Get There

The farm is located towards the northern end of West Swan Road and is approximately 40 minutes from the Perth CBD.

The Allure Crew drove out there in our 2018 Mercedes GLS350 for a family day out, but Public Transport is not great in the Swan Valley.

Therefore, your only options as a tourist is to hire a car or contact us to arrange a day trip that can be tailored to suit your desires.

And if you really wanted to make a day of it, why not fit in a Swan Valley Wine Tour as well? Or if breweries are more your style, the Swan Valley is home to some award-winning breweries.

Or if you are getting married in the near future, you could tie it into a visit to the Swan Valley Wedding Open Day
