Reubens school graduation one sunny Friday afternoon saw Janine out in the Chrysler 300C Stretch Limousine. Dad Jake organised the limo as a surprise for Reuben and a few of his mates. A few of the mates who knew had told Reuben about the limousine, but Jake, ever the jokester, denied any knowledge of the surprise.
The smile on Reuben’s face when the Chrysler Limo turned up at the school to pick them up, could have lit up the night sky. The boys were dressed to impress and thought they were rock stars, getting “papped” by the waiting parents, siblings and grandparents as they walked along the red carpet into the limousine. And they rose to the occasion beautifully, pulling out all the right moves.
We cruised from Aubin Grove down to Port Coogee Marina, where the boys jumped out for more photos, before cruising back to the Wandi Community Hall for Reubens school graduation celebrations.
We couldn’t have timed our arrival any better, with the bulk of the class and their parents in the parking lot for our grand entry. The boys were bouncing out of their seats with excitement. The crowd were in awe of the gorgeous Chrysler Limousine (and driver, lol) and I think a few of the other kids were wishing they’d arrived in style too.
More photos, enormous smiles and wonder ensued before the task of getting out of a very tight car park began. After completing a 25-point turn to cheers from the parents, Janine and the Chrysler were back on the road heading for home.
Congratulations to Reuben and the boys on your graduation. We wish you all the best for next year at high school and can’t wait to drive you to your school balls in a few years’ time or to Reubens school graduation from year 12..
PS: I think Reuben’s little brother is counting down until it’s his turn!
